I don't really know what happened...

but somehow.. we came home with a dog!! Those of you who know me well will be awfully surprised. Since buying a house we have debated. I will spare you the details.
Today we went to Target to coupon shop (Thanks Amy) but before going to Target we saw petsmart or petco or whatever it was. We enjoy looking around so we went in. And out... with a dog. ha!!! Its amazing how a little puppy can tug at your heart strings and you know that if you didn't take him home you would be wondering that night how he was doing and why you didn't take him him. You know I am not a dog lover (I AM a dog like like liker) but look at this little guys beautiful sweet face!!!


And look how happy he makes my husband!

If Kade wasn't in bed right now you would see how happy he makes my tater boy. Kade has always loved puppies and he is so happy to have one of his own.)

So I know I will be saying "What have a done" when there are holes in my carpet, scratches on the front door, missing shoes, whinning in the night and I don't know what else.

So here's to .... puppy dog Skelton :)

Oh, and he is a pit/husky. And I am praying he doesn't get TOO big. :)

Swimming

We took Kade swimming at the rec center Friday night and he LOVED it!!! It was cute to watch him kick and splash. Grandma came to watch and take pictures. He kept pointing at her. My sister was also life-guarding and the time and he would point and squeal at her every time he saw her as well. It was a way fun evening. He is such a fun little guy!

New tricks

I know I have been posting a lot but I forgot to post Kade's 9 month stats.
I don't remember his head but I think it was in the 25th percentile
I don't remember height either but he was in the 50th percentile
He weight is now 17.15 which is now the 15th percentile.
It is crazy to think he used to be in the 95th for weight and length! The doctor said he is healthy though and we don't need to worry about it for now.

He is starting to get around everywhere and pulling up on everything.And he feels pretty good about it!

Kade parks his car in front of the TV for American Idol of course. He even danced along!
After a good run Alex took a bath to relax his muscles. Kade was right there with him the whole time. He sure loves his Daddy!
To go along with his mobleness we have a few bruises. I promise I don't hurt him!!

The video on the left is of Kade saying more please in sign language. We started teaching him a month or so ago because he was screaming for more food. I was surprised that he learned it so soon because I thought it would take him longer! He does it much better but not for the camera of course!

The other video is of Kade saying yes and no. Its so cute because he really knows the difference. Every time we tell him no he just shakes his head at us. Its cute!

This family from the ward I grew up in adopted a little girl from Haiti in July of 08 but they haven't been able to bring her home because they are waiting for a visa from the U.S Government. This link below is a petition to hopefully speed things up. There are lots of other children in Haiti in the same situation.

Kade's new girlfriend

At Grandma Skeletons house there is a doll in this cabinet thing with a window and Kade is always crawling over there and pulling him self to see his girlfriend. I should probably be concerned because he spends so much time with her, he talks to her and everything. I just don't want to break it to him that she's not real. ha!
